Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park Bridge
St. Louis County, Missouri

The Page Avenue Extension Project carries Missouri Route 364 from St. Louis County across the Missouri River flood plain to St. Charles County, Missouri.

Five traffic lanes, with full shoulders on each side, will carry traffic eastbound and westbound across the southern portion of the Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park in St. Louis County.

The bridges are cast-in-place in balanced cantilever utilizing form travelers. Each bridge has a dual-box cross-section measuring 26.05 meters in width. Finley McNary is providing the construction engineering including the construction analysis, geometry control, segment shop drawings and post-tensioning calculations for Walter Construction.

To assist with the schedule and constructibility of the project, the typical segments were increased to 5.0 meters in length and the segment layout revised to limit the structure to half segment out-of-balance during construction. The post-tensioning layout was revised to accommodate the revised segment layout and eliminate the web post-tensioning as originally designed.

Construction of the superstructure began October of 1999 with completion of the project scheduled for September of 2002.
